Mr Jonas Haggard, Chief Solutions Officer and Mr Sharad Arora, Founder & Managing Director, Sensorise Digital Services was felicitated on 21st January 2020 online, by Ms Deepa Tyagi, Senior DDG and HoD of the apex Indian Telecom Standardization body, Telecom Engineering Centre (TEC) and Mr AS Verma, DDG (MT), for their contribution to the National Working Group 13.
The recommendation received the consent of the ITU-T SG13 plenary this December 2020. It will be released as ITU-T Y.3056: “Framework for bootstrapping of devices and applications for open access to trusted services in distributed ecosystems”. The framework provides a cost effective solution for trusted services, which is globally interoperable and supports all type of devices and applications. The framework is more beneficial for India and the developing world, where digitalization and automation including the proliferation of IoT in a big way is critically dependent on the availability of cost effective security solutions of the distributed IoT infrastructure and thereby providing a way forward for the provision of trusted services.
