A webinar series on “IoT/M2M applications in key application verticals” is being organized jointly by DoT and TSDSI, in order to strengthen the M2M ecosystem in the country and facilitate wider proliferation and innovation in the sector.
It will disseminate awareness among key line ministries on how IoT/M2M based technology applications can achieve efficiencies in delivery of services to end users in a cost-effective manner and motivate them to adopt such technologies. Each webinar in this series will showcase global and domestic applications, including pilots/field trials/deployments in a focus vertical tentatively spanning transportation, Utilities, Agriculture, Health, Industry 4.0 and Smart Cities.
The first webinar in this series, focusing on transportation segment, is scheduled on 7th April 2022 from 2:30 to 5:00 PM IST. Shri K Rajaraman, Hon’ble Secretary, Department of Telecommunications (DoT) will deliver the inaugural address in this webinar.
